ISPB Lectureship — Chicago Ophthalmological Society (COS)T he Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness was pleased to present the 16th ISPB Lectureship Award to Anne L. Coleman, M.D. , Ph.D., at the Chicago Ophthalmological Society’s 55th Annual Clinical Conference held at Navy Pier/Chicago, April 25-26, 2003.Dr. Coleman’s ISPB presentation was entitled “Applying Evidence-Based Medicine to an Ophthalmic Practice.” She also gave two additional informative presentations entitled “Risk Factors for Blindness in Glaucoma” and “Is There an Association Between Chronic Eye Disease and Falls and Fractures?”
Anne L. Coleman, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Charles Drew University School of Medicine and in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine, both located in Los Angeles. Among her many responsibilities Dr. Coleman is Clinical Attending at UCLA Department of Ophthalmology Outpatient Department and Glaucoma Division and at Jules Stein Eye Institute Operating Room.
