2000 ISPB LECTURESHIP
Chicago Ophthalmological Society (COS)

Keeping with tradition, the Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness was pleased to present this year’s ISPB Lecturer Award to Edward J. Holland, M.D., at the 52nd Annual Clinical Conference of the Chicago Ophthalmological Society (COS) held at Navy Pier, in Chicago, on June 1 and 2, 2000.

Made possible by an ISPB grant to the COS, Dr. Holland’s presentation was entitled “Ocular Surface Transplantation.” Other presentations given by him included “Management of LASIK Complications,” “Management of Post Keratoplasty Astigmatism,” “Diagnosis and Therapy of Peripheral Ulcerative Keratitis” and “Management of Corneal Disease in the Next Millennium.”

Dr. Holland, director of Cornea Services at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, is also a clinical professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati.
